Student Council
-
The Crivitz Elementary Student Council is a leadership team made up of dedicated 6th grade students who help plan and organize school-wide activities and events. Each year, four students from each 6th grade class are selected to serve on the Wolverine Council, the leadership group that guides and represents the Student Council.
Student council members play an active role in building school spirit, supporting community causes, and creating a positive school environment.
Past student-led initiatives include:
- Empathy for Animals--collected items for the animal shelter
- Rainbow House Drive--gathered donations for a local domestic abuse shelter
- Candy Cane Sales--organized and distributed during the holidays
- Easter Food Drive--collected food for families in need
- School Spirit Activities -including dress-up days and door decorating contests
- Christmas Rotation of Activities--holiday-themed fun for all students
- Golden PAW Recognition--celebrated positive classroom behavior
- World Kindness Day and Kindness Week--promoted acts of kindness across the school
- National Down Syndrome Day--showed support and raised awareness
- Pop Tab Collection--to benefit the Ronald McDonald House
- Magic Show at NewCare--brought smiles to local nursing home residents
Through these and other projects, Student Council members demonstrate leadership, kindness, compassion, and school pride
