Welcome to Crivitz Middle School!
Welcome to Crivitz Middle School! We hope to offer a great experience for our middle school students this year! We will be beginning a new program called ACP (Academic and Career Planning). This will be starting with a new emphasis on planning for all students to be ready for post high school education or employment. This is a mandate of the state and we are happy to bring this experience to all students. This program will begin in the sixth grade and be a requirement for high school graduation.
We also have our core classes of math, language arts, science and social studies. We too have many exploratory classes including life skills, Spanish, art, and tech. ed. We also offer physical education to all students. The overall goals of a middle school program are to offer a variety of experiences to our students to help them decide their interests and activities going into high school and beyond. We look forward to experiencing and developing these interests with you.

Happy National Handwashing Awareness Week! A quick rinse does not get rid of germs as effectively as a long, thorough scrub. So how long should you wash your hands? Studies show that you should scrub your hands with soap for 20 seconds — so sing “Happy Birthday” to yourself twice, rinse your hands well, and you’re done! (To avoid strange looks in the bathroom, we recommend singing silently in your head, unless it is really your birthday-then sing away.) Remember clean hands prevent germs from spreading!
Student council will be selling candy canes for 50 cents starting on Monday, December 9th. Students can purchase them from 12:20-12:50 outside of the gym or you can see Mrs. Spalding at different times. Candy canes will be delivered on Friday, December 20th--the last day of school before Christmas break. Brighten someone's day this Christmas holiday!
There will be a food drive at the elementary Christmas concert on Monday. We will also collect canned and boxed goods at the elementary school on Monday and Tuesday. Let's make sure everyone has a wonderful holiday!
