• Hello Students and Families,

With school closing in response to the Covid-19 virus I would like to provide some resources you can use to continue your artistic studies at home.  Engaging in just one hour of creative play each day can drastically increase whole brain growth.  Please click through my website to discover various resources- some web links to my favorite sites, links and access codes for my google classrooms which have my demo videos and art history resources, and other oppotunities for you or your child to participate in creative activities.

Welcome to the Crivitz Elementary/Middle School Art Department Website!

My name is Miss Klitzke and I teach Visual Arts for grades K-8.  I graduated from UWGB in 2009 with my Bachelor's Degree in Art Education and began working as a teacher shortly after.  I taught art at Coleman Elementary for a few years before coming to Crivitz in 2014.

I believe that a quality art program should teach students how to think like artists, not just make pretty pictures (although that is also important!).  This year I am transitioning my grades 4-8 curriculum to include more student choices- choice in subject matter, materials, and style.  Please see the link below for more information of Choice Based Art.

Thank you for taking the time to check out my website.  If you would like to get in touch with me, the best time to call is after school (3:20-4:00pm).  Or, better yet, email me and I can get back to you at your convenience.

    Sincerely,

    Miss Klitzke
